Anibal Sanchez who no hit the Red Sox for six straight innings last time he took the mound, will be looking to repeat his performance and help the Tigers take a 3-2 lead in the ALCS. Lets be clear here, this is basically a must win game for the Red Sox. If they lose tonight they will go back to Boston and have to face the Aces of Detroit in consecutive games. And to win three straight against any team is just difficult. The last game manager Tim made some lineup changes moving Torii Hunter to lead-off and Austin Jackson to the 8th spot. The result was Jackson’s best game of the series as the team put up a 5 spot in the 2nd inning and ultimately winning the game 7-3. The Red Sox are putting Lester on the mound who has produced an era under 2 during his starts this post-season. The ALCS has been all about pitching and so far the Detroit bullpen looks better. The Red Sox will look to be aggressive early this game I am assuming so they can make Detroit go to the bullpen. This series has been the better series of the two and it looks like the winner will most likely play the Cardinals unless the Dodgers can pull off a miracle. Tonight I see Detroit getting a W and taking a 3-2 lead back to Boston.
